Revising Masonic Ritual, Day 67 of 100: The Installation Ceremony
It’s worth having another day on this. I know the Raising is a big ceremony, but you have plenty of time (at least two months away, and that’s assuming it’s your first ceremony following your Installation) so let’s sneak in a cheeky run through of the Installation
In my book Investing the Officers starts on page 214 with the IPM, then picks up with the Senior Warden on page 223, through the Offices to page 235, then Resuming is on page 68 and Closing the Lodge is pages 62-65.
It has also come to my attention that Kennet Lodge do the extended versions for the Chaplain, Almoner and Charity Steward. This does add to my work. Double check with someone in your Lodge to see if you need to learn the extended versions.
Just because your IPM left it until the last minute to cram doesn’t mean you have to too! If you do need to learn the extended versions it isn’t too much additional work as they follow the same format with the explanation the Jewel.
